Manager Of Reliability: Currently
Presently responsible to maintain the company Continuing Analysis and Surveillance program in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations, part 121.373. In this capacity, generate the monthly and quarterly reports required by the program and the Federal Aviation Administration. Directly supervise all personnel within the department. Evaluate on a continuing basis the total company maintenance programs, vendor reliability, aircraft reliability, and recommend changes to keep the reliability program dynamic to ensure flight safety by economical maintenance practices. Directly coordinate with the Federal Aviation Administration, Vice President of Technical Services, Director of Quality Control, Director Of Maintenance, Director Of Information Systems, and all related managers, current program functions, trends, and analysis to provide a proactive total maintenance program. Develop and maintain company component Repair Specifications for vendors. Prepare for and floor the Reliability Meetings held monthly. Coordinate with the Manager of Quality Assurance, audits of negative vendor trends as identified through the CASE program. Directly involve manufacturers with problems in equipment identified through the CASE program. Develop, debug, and produce, in liaison / coordination with Information Systems, PC based programs, for the Quality Control Department. Assume the responsibilities of the Director of Quality Control, in his absence, as qualified by FAR 121.61(d). Research and develop new aircraft system installations for future requirements, current projects; Reduced Vertical Separation Minimums, Long Range Navigation UNS 1D FMS with data link, Air conditioning system modification for the 60 series aircraft. Supervise in-house engineering projects.
Manager Of Quality Control: Previous
Qualified in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations part 121.61(d), Chief Inspector, to stand in for the Director of Quality Control in his absence. Directly supervise all inspectors and quality control representatives. Hire and remove from service, personnel not maintaining company policies. Maintain the company precision measuring equipment program. Monitor all aircraft heavy maintenance activities, directly or indirectly, to ensure company standards and policies are followed. Generate and coordinate, with FAA Designated Engineering Representatives, Local FAA, Manufacturers, and cognizant company personnel, company engineering requirements. Personally audit aircraft / engines for purchase or lease.
Q.C. Representative / Reliability Analyst: Previous
Company representative for all heavy maintenance checks, C & D. This included development of the A.T.I. D check program and updating the C Check routine cards. Provided flow and control documents to reduce costs. Monitor CASE program and initiate work actions for chronic problems. Develop training programs and accomplish training for company / repair station personnel. Maintain and revise company maintenance publications. Estimate, negotiate, and approve work items generated during the check while maintaining budget and schedules. Approve all final billing.
