a position as an aircraft mechanic or other aviation related jobs in the
civilian market.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE SUMMARY
Over five years experience in supervising, training,
providing technical guidance, and counseling up to ten employees. Supervised
the maintenance and performed maintenance on AH-64A helicopters.
Performed operational checks and scheduled inspections. Diagnosed and troubleshot
on aircraft subsystems assemblies such as engines, rotors, gearboxes, transmissions,
mechanical flight controls, and other components. Used special
tools, aircraft ground support equipment, and other equipment as required.
Prepared and maintained forms and records related to aircraft
maintenance. Ordered essential parts needed (engines, aircraft subsystems
and components).
ACHIEVEMENTS
Senior Crew Engineer, Assistant Section Leader 1997-1999
United States Army, Ft. Carson, Co.
Supervised and provided technical guidance training to
repairers on proper maintenance techniques and safety procedures. Over-saw
complete and correct helicopter flight and maintenance records
to insure adherence to prescribed maintenance regulations
and standards. Also applied Production Control, Quality Control, and other
maintenance management principles to shop and flight line
operations.
Helicopter Crew Engineer 1995-1997
United States Army, European Command
Provided organized maintenance and upkeep, operational
readiness, troubleshooting procedures, scheduled and unscheduled inspection
of AH-64A Helicopters and associated equipment valued at over
thirty million dollars. Trained entry-level mechanics in their respective
jobs.
Helicopter Repairer 1993-1995
United States Army
Removed and installed subsystem assemblies such as rotors,
engines, gearboxes, transmissions, and flight controls. Prepared helicopters
for entry into and removal from storage. Performed operator
maintenance on ground support equipment and tools required for helicopter
maintenance and ground handling.
