| Many people only think
of a hot drink when they hear the word coffee. I think of coffee as a life
style. Ever go to a coffee shop, or a Dennys. There you will find the regulars
sitting there discussing events of the day, and many times solving the
all the world's problems. Or go to a Coffee house there many times you
may find entertainment, fine desserts, or even a computer or two linked
to the internet.
Coffee allows people to sit relax, talk, and socialize without becoming intoxicated. Not that I'm against drinking, but I don't believe in drinking & driving, which translates into one person, having to sit out to be the driver. With coffee everyone can participate, and it costs less too. The merchandising of coffee has changed over the years. It has been thought of as a breakfast drink, than an after dinner drink. As our lives became more hectic, it became a pep-me-up, and a collage students best friend. Now coffee, can be customized to fit any ones life style and preference: regular coffee, decaf caffeine, low-acid, espresso, cappuccino, latte, natural grown, flavored, chicory, and this is only to mention a few! I myself enjoy a pot of Folgers to start my day off with. When I get to work most mornings there is another pot with my name on it. Through out the day I have my cup with me. I do have a special cup for the car, I enjoy drinking it not wearing it. After work its cappuccino time, I keep a dozen or so flavorings on hand. After dinner, a good Italian espresso with desert. Then depending on the mood, I will switch back to Folgers or cappuccino until bedtime. If I go out to party with friends, my favorite drinks are Irish Coffee or Mexican Coffee. For some reason, people give me new coffee mugs for my birthday, and Christmas. I didn't plan on collecting coffee cups/mugs, but I seem to have a very large collection that I enjoy. Some people seem to think that coffee will kill me, but I feel driving rush hour is much more dangerous. So sit back and enjoy a cup or two.
