Dog Treats From Your Kitchen
Beef & Cheese  Biscuits
 
 
1 cup rolled oats
1/3  cup margarine
1 cup boiling water
1 tablespoons honey
3/4  cup cornmeal
1 teaspoon beef bouillon
1/2  cup milk
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
1 egg, beaten
2 cups  whole wheat flour
 
  1. Heat oven to 325 degrees.  Grease cookie sheets. 
  2. Combine oats, margarine and boiling  water; let stand for 10 minutes. 
  3. Stir in cornmeal, sugar, milk, cheese and egg and bouillon 
  4. Mix well. 
  5. Add  flour, 1 cup at a time, 
  6. Knead  3-4 minutes. 
  7. Roll out on a floured surface to 1/2 inch thickness. 
  8. Cut into shapes, place on well greased cookie sheet 
  9. Bake at 325 F for 35-45 minutes. 
  10. Store loosely covered.
