Glass Candy
2 cups sugar

3/4 cup light corn syrup

3/4 cup water

1 teaspoon flavoring (lemon, vanilla, or what ever you wish)

confectioner's sugar for dusting
 
 

    1. Stir sugar, corn syrup and water in saucepan.
    2. Heat at medium-high, until sugar has dissolved
    3. Boil until 300oF hard ball stage (DON'T STIR)
    4. Remove from heat
    5. Stir in flavoring
    6. Pour onto greased cookie sheet immediately
    7. Let cool
    8. Dust with confectioner's sugar
    9. Break into pieces
