Lemon Cheese Cookies
1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
3 oz. cream cheese
1 egg (beaten)
2 1/2  cups flour (sifted)
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon grated lemon rind
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
 
 
  1. Blend butter and cheese
  2. Add sugar, blend thoroughly
  3. Add egg, lemon juice, and rind, mix well
  4. Mix flour and baking powder in medium bowl
  5. Add flour mixture to butter mixture
  6. Chill 30 minutes
  7. Force dough through cookie press onto an ungreased cookie sheet
  8. Bake 8 10 minutes at 375 F
