1 pound shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 1/3 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon red pepper

Combine cheese and butter in large bowl

Beat at medium speed until blended

Gradually add flour, mixing until blended

Stir in pepper

Press dough through a cookie press, using saw-tooth tip

make long strips on an ungreased cookie sheet

Cut into 2 inch strips

Bake at 350 F for 15 to 17 minutes

Remove from cookie sheet

Cool on wire racks

Store in airtight container
